I'm very excited to be teaching 1st grade this year. I have been with the Port Huron School District for 14 years. My undergrad degree in Elementary Education was earned at the University of Michigan. My first masters degree in Guidance Counseling was earned at Oakland University. I earned my second masters degree in Educational Leadership & Administration at Concordia University in 2013. During my career I have taught 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th grades. Most recently, I held the position of Title 1 Interventionist, Instructional Coach and Assessment Coordinator. Last year I served as Kimball's Behavior Interventionist. I'm looking forward to my new role at Kimball this year! I have a lot of exciting ideas and plan to make your child's 1st grade year fun and memorable.
